A1 Passive Fire Partnered with Stowe Australia to help deliver the first stage of the new USC Moreton Bay Campus at Petrie QLD.
The building is a 3 storey university building with an open air Atrium in the centre. The building contained many smoke and fire rated walls that required passive fire treatment.
As can be expected in a new state of the art facility like this, a large volume of cables where required in the communication rooms which resulted in difficult to treat penetrations.
The understanding and communication between Stowe and A1 Passive Fire ensured the penetrations could be treated compliantly and with minimal delays. In all the building contained over 600 fire, smoke and acoustic rated penetrations.
